Introduction
indiayogi has received many requests for Pujas which can be performed by competent
professional priests, but which the person desiring the Puja may not be able to
physically attend. We are now glad to announce that this service is available for
a few select Pujas. Once the specific Puja has been ordered, our priest will determine
the most auspicious date or dates it can be performed upon. Our Brahmin priest will
be your representative for the Puja. All Pujas will be overseen and officiated by
our panel expert Shri Anil Pandya. Pictures of the Puja performed as per your order
will be sent to you by email. We regret that because of increased security restrictions
concerning organic items and powders, both used in Puja, we cannot send any Prasad
to our customers but all those who place an order for a Puja will get a complementary,
customized, fully energized Yantra from indiayogi in lieu of the Prasad. This Yantra
will actually be placed at the Puja site while the Puja is being performed.
The costs of the Pujas are calculated taking into account many factors like the
duration, the materials and the amount of it used for the Puja, as well as the fees
for the priest or priests where appropriate. Hence Pujas of shorter duration may
seem to be more expensive than longer ones but that would be an erroneous conclusion.
All time estimates for the Pujas are reasonably accurate, but they may vary a little
bit on the actual day.
Most Pujas will be performed in temples which are both of long standing as well
as possessing power. The two temples we prefer to use are the Bhidbhajan Temple
and the Jagnath Mahadev Temple, the latter being a thousand year old temple with
an unbroken continuity of worship to this day. However, these two sites are sometimes
subject to availability. Most Pujas will be performed here or in a sacred space
of equal sanctity. Mumbai, contrary to the popular perception, was a great centre
of culture for over one and a half millennia and many temples still exist which
are both ancient and powerful.
Pujas are normally done within 20 days of your booking, unless there are no auspicious
days available, in which case the first available day is utilized. It is a good
idea to book your Pujas well in advance, especially for birthdays and anniversaries,
as well as those Pujas which fall around major festivals. A month is safe enough.
