Tarot Game For Lovers
This game presupposes an ability to read Tarot cards. Those who are unable to do
so may wish to consult us for a reading.
This game is ideal for all couples who want to find out and explore the deeper levels
of their relationship with each other. Whatever is revealed will be uniquely your
energies and it applies to the nature of your bond with your partner and to that
alone. This game allows you to get a perspective of sorts on your time together
and also tells you what you need to do to keep it fresh and growing, while avoiding
the likely pitfalls. You will, of course, have to interpret the cards yourself.
A word of advice. The game is simple, but the consequences may not be so. If you
do not have full commitment to each other and a willingness to deal with whatever
is thrown up, leave it be. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. There is
always a chance that old wounds may be opened up or that this is your moment to
get in a couple of cheap shots and the temptation is too great to resist. Having
said that on to the game.
You should thoroughly mix up your Tarot pack to begin with. Both of you should take
turns in so doing to ensure that both your energies are infused into the pack.
Each one draws a card alternatively from the pack, until you each have seven cards.
Do not look at them as yet.
It is best if you lay down the cards together as it eliminates any fear or competitiveness.
Begin with Card 1, with both of you choosing a card at random from your pile.
The meanings of the cards are as follows:
|
Card 1 -
|
Old and unresolved issues that you have avoided. They are ripe to be let go of now. |
|
Card 2 -
|
Your feelings about your partner's Card no. 1.
(This is likely to be the longest section to get over and I strongly suggest you
do not move until you have solved it. It is a lancing of the sore and will hurt
for a while perhaps, but this needs to be finished if you want to move ahead.)
|
|
Card 3 -
|
The impact of the present bond upon you. |
|
Card 4 -
|
The positive qualities of the bond. |
|
Card 5 -
|
The areas of the bond that are changing you and the areas of the bond you feel that
require changing. |
|
Card 6 -
|
The aspirations and expectations you have from this bond and the direction you would
like it to take. |
|
Card 7 -
|
What you can do together to bring about a favorable resolution. |
Do not enter this game with a spirit of competition or conflict or who is right.
Keep love and compassion as the primary goals and you will be surprised at what
this game can do for you.
