Crystal lovers are big-hearted, generous people, and I know several who are happy to give away precious stuff for free, to someone who is obviously in strong resonance with a particular stone. It is recognised that the electromagnetic frequency emanating from the crystal may attract a person who is in need of that particular combination of vibrational harmonics in healing or in spiritual growth.
I was recently taken on a conscious voyage, while in meditation at a sacred site, through the labyrinthine tunnels in the cerebral cortex, where I noticed that the inner lining of the tunnels was made up of bright crystal cones of a vivid yellow hue. It leads me to conjecture that this is the reason why we respond so strongly to crystals. Their corresponding transformative effect upon our consciousness is because our brain tissue, and the entire cellular body structure bears a common mineral-crystalline imprint, resonating like a tuning fork to the vibrational frequencies emitted by the stones.

There is much on-going scientific research on the properties of crystals, and it is well-established now that quartz crystals in particular possess a low voltage piezo-electric charge. Many websites on the Internet provide excellent information on the specific properties of a whole range of crystals and minerals in healing and spiritual development. But at some point it is important to stop the cerebral work and to simply put aside the mind and the static it generates, to tune intuitively into what the crystals are expressing about themselves! At that, you’ll be surprised to discover the internal dialogue that ensues. If you note down all the seeming ‘hunches’ that accumulate over a period of time, you will have a ready primer to work with your own collection.
