Brass is one of the 'Panch Dhaatus' or five metals sacred to the Gods. This big Brass Thaali for performing the Laxmi Puja or worship of Goddess Laxmi, contains (clockwise): three 'diyas' to hold the cotton wick flame, a bowl to hold the 'prasada' or sweetmeat offering, a bell, a container with lid for vermilion powder, and an incense stick holder. All fixed on the Thaali (except the bell), making it easy to handle by children as well, especially during aartis.
All items are made of Brass.
